Welcome home your new custom, handmade cutting board. These solid boards will not only add function to your kitchen, but character as well. Let us customize one of our Maine made, hand crafted boards. Each board measures 10" x 14" and range in thickness from 3/4" to 7/8". Boards come with a .5 oz sample can of board buttah and come in a gift box!
Engraving options are available. Make sure you specify the design number and location of your engraving. The default design is 1 and location will be in the center. Wood layout will be determined by the maker unless noted. Cherry & maple boards automatically come with 2 walnut strips. We also take custom orders!
Face grain refers to the top/face of a board. These boards are great for food presentation and are a great decorative piece. On a face grain board your wood strips will also be wider than that of a edge grain. In short your knife marks will show faster on a face grain. For continuous cutting use, we recommend our edge grain cutting boards.
These cutting boards need to be hand washed, then pat dry. Lay your board flat to dry. Each cutting board comes with care instructions. It is also recommended to hydrate your cutting board at least once a month depending on how much you use your board. We offer our "Wicked Good Board Buttah" for hydration.
